Let’s hear it for the boys! In honor of Elijah Finn’s first birthday on Friday, here’s some of the shops I’ve discovered that carry cute decor, clothing and toys for little guys.
I have a confession: Whenever I went shopping for baby items when I was pregnant with my son, I’d end up cringing at the loads and loads of sports-themed items then wander over to the girl section, where I’d end up with an arm-load of cute things for my daughter instead. A year later, I’m still wondering why it is so easy to dress a little girl in empowering, creative clothing but my son has to have a football screen-printed to his onesie. Or worse, STUD printed in big letters across his chest. I’m sorry, I live surrounded by horse farms and my precious boy is not a stud. I don’t have a problem with sports-related stuff but I hate seeing my kid pigeon-holed into being all boy. Actually, I just hate that saying in general. If, like me, you’ve felt limited by the offerings in the boy department, you’ll love these sources for creative decor, clothing and more!
First, let’s ditch words like “hunk” or “stud” and go for dapper. Yes, dapper is much better.
This pennant from one of my favorite Etsy shops, Strawberry Moth, is adorable but I’ve also got my eye on this tee for Mr. E:
Okay, admittedly, this is not a budget-friendly addition to Baby Boy’s closet but…Oh. My. Word. I would live in a perpetual winter if I could dress Eli in this coat from Little Goodall.
This lion hat is a bit easier on the pocket and every bit as cute!
H&M is probably my favorite place to shop for Eli’s clothes. How adorable are these shoes? And at $12.99, you can’t beat the price.
And these shorts…my swoon-biscuit needs these shorts.
Forget footballs. I’m looking for toys that will have his cradle rockin’ like this personalized guitar.
And I’m seriously loving this swing, too…
I love this shirt. Love. Love. Love. See? Isn’t that so much better than a shirt with “HUNK” across the front?
I’m being a little hard on football but what if you’re raising a dreamer and not a wide receiver? Well, then you’re going to need this…
Where do you shop for boy’s clothing, decor and toys?
