Three-Tiered Trays: For all Occasions & Seasons

My three-tiered tray is becoming quite the centerpiece in my home. It’s the first thing that changes for each holiday or for the changing of the season. I’m going to show you how I decorate mine for different occasions and my method (or lack of) in filling up those three tiers each time.

I did a post for decorating my three-tiered tray for Christmas, but after the holidays came and went, I wanted to continue to decorate for various holidays and seasons. And so it began.

This is one of my Christmas tray decor.

Truth be known, I have no formula other than using things I already have. Like my Easter/Spring decor uses the plastic eggs I made over into cooler speckled eggs. I also use a lot of things from around the house. I will walk by a bookcase or table top and see a small candle or little item that would look cute with the others. I often use my cracker jar and fill it with candy for whatever season I’m decorating. For my Easter display I also have plastic macarons (good gried I love macarons), but I know they also have foam ones as well.

I love my plastic macarons and my speckled eggs!

One other thing I like to add to add to my tiered displays is my magnetic, battery operated puck lights. I got mine at Lowe’s years ago and just LOVE them. I love to turn them on at night and it gives my tray a little warm glow. The lights stay on for about 20 minutes and then turn off automatically. I looked on Amazon and they have newer, much fancier lights with remotes and are LED, but mine worked well for what I wanted.

Decorating for fall is one of my favorite things to do. This past year I used unfinished carvings that my grandfather made (horses and little birds).

And of course, Valentine’s Day:

The porcelain shoes belonged to my grandparents. They’re ashtrays!!!!!! My grandfather smoked (which I never knew until much later. He had long quit before I was born.

I created my little hearts and signs. Used the handy dandy Cricut, (which I do love and should a post because it can do so many things!!!!) and purchased the little wooden hearts. I really try to only use existing things, but the hearts were a little splurge (they weren’t expensive, I just wanted to stick to using what I had!)
