Our Storied Home was started in 2015ish by Amanda Stiltner (I knew her as Amanda Hervey back then).  Amanda filled this blog with love, inspiration and her amazing know-how.  After a couple of years, Amanda needed to grow. Amanda’s writing is still an important part of Our Storied Home. Like when someone says a house has “good bones”, Amanda built this home with good bones. Her posts are informative and personal, funny and profound, just like her. Her story is the beginning of Our Storied Home.

This is where I come in.

Shortly after I began working on Our Storied Home, life happened. Then…nothing happened here for several years. I began working on other endeavors (my other website, YogaloreAndMore.com). Our Storied Home sat like a vacant home, waiting patiently, hoping for someone to spruce it up and show it some love again…someone to continue its story. I guess it’s really OUR Storied Home — Amanda’s and mine.

My life is so different now.

I decided it was time. Time to pour some of my own soul into Our Storied Home and share my own journey — where I came from, how I got here and take you to places I want to experience. I’d like for you to join me in this new little community I hope to nurture and grow. I am the new builder, the remodeler of Our Storied Home — the current Dread Pirate Roberts.
